Any therapist worth their salt will allow for a 10-15 minute free consultation before you book a paid session. This is especially important for those seeking therapy resources for CPTSD recovery or narcissistic abuse support. Interview several therapists to get a feel for which one will be a good fit for you.
*Please note: Almost all therapists today are 'trauma informed.' Mentioning narcissistic abuse or cults can help determine if they have specific experience in these areas.

A few persons, groups, or organizations exist to help with cult recovery, however, I don't entirely trust them.
One course I haven't done personally, but I do trust the experiences and insights of Mark Vincente. He was in a cult for many years and has done a lot of the healing work involved for himself. I recommend from his website www.markvincente.com, his course -Reclamation: Embracing Feelings of Shame & Failure.
Both Richard Grannon & Mark Vincente did a course together that you can find on both their sites called - Decoding Cults and Narcissists. It is useful in clearing up confusion after a cult experience.
Please contact me, and I will gladly discuss the one or two therapy resources, books, or individuals more I feel comfortable recommending.
